Fund Development Fellowship

Position Overview

SVN is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter for a fellowship to help with our fund development efforts. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in:

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Development and the Development and Administrative Coordinator, the fellow will provide a wide range of database, research, administrative, and general support to SVN’s development team. In return, SVN will provide an opportunity for the fellow to gain experience in areas such as fundraising, philanthropy, donor outreach, grantwriting and the day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization.

Depending on the interest and experience of the selected candidate, responsibilities may include the following:

Required Skills

The ideal candidate is a current student, graduate student or recent graduate from an accredited university, has some work experience and is interested in sustainable business or the non-profit sector. We are particularly interested in the following skills:

Commitment

Time commitment is 20 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months. We offer a $500/month stipend and compelling experience and benefits.
