Social Venture Network Welcomes Four New Interim Board Members

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of SVN's interim Board of Directors with the addition of four exceptional leaders who embody the values of social innovation and responsible business practices. Rose Penelope Yee, Josh Knauer, Chris Jacobs, and Dror Yaron bring diverse expertise spanning sustainable finance, technology entrepreneurship, organizational development, and ethical leadership.

Their collective experience in building mission-driven organizations and fostering positive social change will be invaluable as SVN continues to evolve and grow its impact. Read their bios below.

  • Rose is CEO of Green Retirement, a California Benefit Corporation focused on fossil-free and socially and environmentally responsible 401k’s. She holds both Civil Engineering and Masters in Business Management degrees.

Rose has an award-winning career empowering women as a socially and environmentally responsible business leader. In 2015, Rose was recognized by the National Association of Plan Advisors as one of the Captains of Industry. For her efforts in helping B Corps connect, build, and grow their businesses, she was honored with a B Economy Leadership Award in 2018. Rose co-founded and co-led WeTheChange, a movement of “empowered women creating a radically inclusive and richly regenerative global economy.” Comprised of women CEO's of certified B Corporations and other purpose-driven enterprises, WeTheChange received the B Corp Collective Award in 2019 and again in 2020. She was recognized by Conscious Company Media as one of the World Changing Women of 2020.

Rose ran for Congress in 2024 with a pro-family, anti-poverty campaign. Despite running in a deeply conservative and majority white district, Rose is proud to have garnered over 110,000 votes, proving that there are voters who thirst for a Care Agenda which puts working peoples’ interests, rather than identity, first. She is looking forward to continuing to help forge a future  with an economy that prioritizes the interests of the many, one that is just and kind and fair.
